Giant Rainier

In mid-July I bought a new bike to replace my Trek 820 Antelope as my primary ride. The new bike is a 2002 Giant Rainier and it's awesome. The Rainier is the top-of-the-line bike in Giant's Recreational Mountain Bike family (I didn't know that before I bought the bike). I'm not a hard-core mountain biker but I knew I wanted choice componentry (I'm a techie and a gear head) and a strong overall structure so an MTB was indicated and the Rainier came highly recommended. It's major features are disc brakes, front suspension, and a hard-tail.

Here's some choice shots of the bike the afternoon after I bought it. The bike is still cherry because I'd only test-ridden it at the bike shop.
